Does it count if I literally can't save because I'm trying to beat the game in a weird novel way? For instance I keep going back to this Save State of Zelda where I have her in the dark world with me and I'm trying to figure out how I can trigger the Gannon fight.

nta but my Pi outputs SNES games like this. Didn't bother with any fancy D3D shaders but wanted it to not look like ass on my TV. Way better than my old SNES's native output.
