To be fair, the Hindu idea of the soul being eternal and part and parcel of God/Brahman or whatever you want to call it, sounds good but has it really manifested itself in your waking life? How do you even know it’s there? When you are unconscious (drugs/drink, medical, sleeping, etc) why is it just black? Sure you can have dreams sometimes but what even are your dreams? Idk man, you should consider what the Buddha said. Maybe the concept of the soul is just another attachment.
