Since we already have at least one concept from Discworld (Darker than Dark negative light) and Gerson, besides obvious Tolkien influences, may also be partially inspired by PTerry, I wonder if knife is something like Carrot's sword - an object so real it is not affected by Dark Fountains and still remains a knife in Dark Worlds.
