I think people forget how bad Ash's original art is. She's got a fridgebody. She looks like what you'd expect an angry ugly short woman to look like.
And Fjorm is just flat and lame. They had to retcon tits and ass onto her, and people still didn't roll.

OG Ash has a fridge body because her shoulders and hips are almost completely in line with her waist. The tabbard is too long, and it being one on one side is dumb because her hair isn't long enough to balance it out.
She looks like a guy. Which is ironic because the other one is acting more masculine, but looks more feminine!
