Its Storious because he was the only thematic final battle (writer vs poet, both trying to defy a predestined destiny), and I actually understood him more when it was revealed how much the book was controlling everything (also justified Calibur a bit). Him setting up a secret lair where multiple riders had to fight his elite minions and almost die in the process was also a good way to hype things up, compared to every other show just turning everyone into cheerleeders for the protagonist.
Upon retrospective, I also like that he was both unredeemably evil but also sad and pitiful in the end. I realized every other Reiwa endgame villain was either one thing or the other, and he was both. I don't think he's a fantastic villain or the best in Saber, but he's still the one who had the most impact out of every other endgame bad guy. George/Vice and Horobi were annoying, while Glion and Suel were just boring plain bad guys.
