I know this question has been done to death but which Heisei rider should I start with? I've only seen Shin Kamen Rider/Black Sun/bits of OOOs as a kid and was looking to really get into the series.

Felt like the lead-up to the Bocca fight was a bit too easy and rushed. I was a bit worried that they were going to make Amazing an instant win and have Bocca go out like a regular MOTW but I like how they handled it and just at most take Bocca off guard so Lango could backstab him with his zweihander. I thought the way he just disappeared from the scene after Bocca un-henshin'd the trio was a bit jarring but the idea of Lango sneaking off so he could camp on a hill somewhere and superspeed his way to sniping the president with a long range stab does fit well with his psychopath CEO characterization. A quick shot of him leaving would have gone a long way to set it up and make the stab itself a bit more cathartic when you realize he wasn't just escaping.

I am wondering how they're going to make the last 2 episodes work. Shouma has every tool he needs to beat Lango(even Gochipod can be explained with having tons of Gochizous readied) and Hanty and Lakian are likely split off from him rescuing people and dealing with Jeep and Lizel. The son stuff in the show is all set up with zero reveals or payoff. It feels like they were pretty clearly setting up a reveal that Hantso parents broke up and she took the son with her, Suga thought they were dead and it ruined him and would lead to the ultimate ironic end of his own son killing him. His obsession with losing a son driving him to create 'a better lifeform' but in the end the son replaces the father as nature intends.

They probably just thought the "everytime Hanto is on screen he must suffer" memes were getting too on the nose.
