>the young son of the noble comes with it
>he and octavia seem unnaturally close, to anons chagrin
>he starts to become jealous and insecure
>eventually, he ends up challenging the noble to a duel after he learns hes not very good at magic
>he thinks he has it in the bag, then the dude accepts...and immediately sets the terms to a sword duel
>turns out any one can challenge any one else to fighting in goetian society, but the challenged gets to pick the weapon of choice
>anon didnt think this through and thinks about backing out, but then he sees octavia looking at him with her big, bright eyes and he accepts
>the duel is going to be held in 2 weeks and anon is to fight a guy who has been trained in wielding a sword since the day he could hold it
>so, of course he does the only sensible thing he can think off
>runs off to IMP and begs loona and millie to teach him how to hold his own in melee
