I don't know enough about the names and who is pro-making the Forerunners human, so can someone give a better run down than the pictures?
Also, I don't know if I ever thought of the Forerunners as Human. The biggest hint at that would be that monitors respond to and listen to Humans differently than any Covenant species and this is talked about in the books (which may or may not have even known that plot point despite Halo 3 era Halo starting to understand how important the books are to the canon) , but the Forerunners and Humans butting heads in ancient time at the feet of the Precursors is interesting to me.
