It is. This is her core motivation throughout the adventure era. To marry Sonic. She wants Sonic's attention. Sonic is the wind. Amy is an anchor. Amy wants to anchor the wind. She wants Sonic to marry her. Slow down for her. Live a cozy domestic life of bliss with her. She is a character who demands Sonic slow down to fit her passions. Yet she cannot succeed, because the wind does not slow down for anyone. She continuously narratively jobs each and every time Sonic rejects her or turns her down. This is the core of Amy's character. A serially rejected and pushed away Minnie Mouse. What a terrible fucking concept.

It opens with her wanting Sonic to fuck her. It ends with her wanting Sonic to fuck her but with an ego that she'll actually be able to convince him to fuck her. (She never does).

Then why is it about that? Amy Rose comes across like an unhinged woman with an undiagnosed mental disorder. Nothing in the game or subsequent games would contradict this. She is one-notedly obsessed with Sonikku. She wants to anchor the wind. What a great fucking premise for a character, amirite, Sparky?
