If we're talking THAT long term, the Old Bone Mother is an interesting choice. After all, what happens when a luminary tied to both the Old Bone Mother and a Light patron (or two) dies? I think you can argue that - at least - all the power invested in the luminary would flow to the Old Bone Mother (death god, and all that).
But is that all? I can also argue that the dead "shared" luminary would be the equivalent of a pipeline directly to the Light patron, potentially allowing the Old Bone Mother to try and bleed the Light patron dry.
I don't know if that is what would happen . . .but I can't say that it wouldn't. And I doubt whether anyone else in the cyoa knows, either. So they'd have to be extra careful coming after you.
