How do you get OBS to detect these rpgmaker games?

I can't wrap my head around the rules to Paladins of the north kingdom whatsoever. It's absurd, War of the ring was more manageable. Has anybody taught it before and knows how to make it easier to learn? Yes the game looks like ass, but I got it as a gift so now I pretty much have to play it at some point.
