Because it's disingenuous. The God of War games were pure violent spectacles with cool setpieces and tons of gore, but the new ones started acting serious and responsible, but are ultimately the same shit, extreme violence and cool setpieces.
To make matters worse, the thumbnail and title adds a layer of pure ideology where individual men are put to the task for improving society even though most of them don't have a reason to care, nor cannot do much on their own.
Basically it's the leftoid equivalent of Jordan Peterson.
