Are americans just rich why are high end SUVs and full-size pick up trucks everywhere?

Literally every rich person I know Pirates and is a miser.

Most broke people have new cars/gadgets and the newest consoles.

I'm starting to despise consumers.

Why the fuck are there so many of these and SUVs on the road? Plus everyone I talk to who drive these bitch about bills.
