How's PC emulation doing in these handhelds? I know there are a few options out there, and I've even tried some on my phone. Unfortunately, I've got a Mediatek chip so the experience was pretty bad and very limited. Is it anywhere close to something like a Steam Deck now? I'm not asking for much really, just to play games from before 2012 and some indies.
I was thinking about getting the RP G2, but if it's still too rough, I might just go for an x86 handheld like the ROG Ally Xbox At 6 TDP it can run PS2 decently for about 6 and a half hours, and I'd still have all the benefits of x86.
I know the comparison is stupid, but I'm adjusting it to my (Autist AF) particular situation.
