I have not seen a military issued M1 Carbine for less than $1300 where I live (VA/PA) in about seven years. My partial assessment is all of the RTI shit flooding the market raised the price of anything in better shape, especially U.S milsurps, which tend to look nicer. Your picrel also just reminded me, now is a great time to buy German WW2 uniforms. I have an M40 Infanterie Feldbluse with EK2/Ostfront ribbons and Offizier-Anwärter shoulder board stripes on the way that I only paid $1500 for because the seller was sick of it taking up space.
