tyler is a bit different. he had to lean into queerbaiting with flower boy after dropping a shit album. i partially do agree with it also helping him absolve all the slurs he was dropping back then. he was about to fall off after dropping cherry bomb so i think he knew he had to switch it up for him to stay relevant.

it should also be noted that igor is his worst album. worse than goblin, because it's so gimmicky and uninteresting, whereas the former is an anomaly in just how raw it is for a mainstream success.

Igor is the last album by Tyler I actually gave a full listen to and despite liking 1-2 songs I agree. I found Cherry Bomb less uninteresting than Igor surprisingly. I will say that I haven't given Call Me If You Get Lost a fair shake because I couldn't get into the DJ Drama ramblings. I understand what he was doing with it but it took me out of it every time
