The actual issue with warhammer games is that the gameplay loop isn't fun in an addictive way. And some of them tend to get really annoying and obnoxious really fast as well.
All the games are carried by the stories and the universe, and even the music. But they cannot come up with fun gameplay loops and power fantasies at all.

Helldivers 2? Literal who franchise. But guess what? The game is fun and the gameplay loop is amazing.
