MH4U don't need the touch screen while hunting which is what you do 90% of the time, the only time when you want to look at the bottom screen is when doing some menu stuff like selecting a specific food buff or selecting a quest, you can switch screens with a key press.

Eventually, you will start using your muscle memory to select the food you want with a movement command without ever looking at the bottom screen, upscale x4 or higher for the game to not look so awful.

MH4U, the village story at least, I will put it on the back burner and do 5 or so quests a day because otherwise I won't play anything else, not like if a new MH game will release soon or anything, so I can grind my way to G rank slowly.
