I'm playing Etrian Odyssey 3 at this very moment.

I beat Black Souls. Pretty fun time it's fucking EMBARRASSING how a small h RPG maker game outclasses a good majority of new games this year. I know for a fact I wouldn't have had as much of a good time if I played expedition 33, deltarune, or silk song. It was a good $13 I spent. I think I'm gonna play Arkham origins now. That's a good game, and it's something I never beat before.

I beat "Is This Seat Taken?" while I was working yesterday. Comfy little puzzle game.
Before that, Dream Tactics. Little SRPG that uses a deckbuilding mechanic. Loved the game, couldn't recommend it enough. Incredibly fun character building.

I beat Demon's Souls yesterday, I enjoyed it, didn't expect most of the bosses to be so easy the levels themselves are what fucks you more often than not, feels like a different design philosophy compared to the later iterations of the formula. I'm gonna try a mage character next because apparently magic is broken as fuck.

It's not exactly a bullet hell. Gradius and all its spinoffs are shoot 'em ups. There's a huge difference.
You get a shield in Gradius and can save another one for when it breaks so it's not as hard as some other ones.

Solatorobo on the DS. It was fine I guess, a bit too long for the mechanics even if they tried to add some stuff past the halfway point but it just made things even easier.

Gears of Sóy Judgment a few days ago. It was a pretty short game and way too easy on normal. Enjoyable though. I started Gears 4 almost immediately after and it's worse. The enemies are robots and they just keep coming. It's boring
