So, can anyone recommend decent hfy?
Austism + ADHD anon here
was indeed a drug seeker until diagnosis and treatment (Im a shy nerdy shutin, not like I was going out to the streets to get hookups). spaced out goober with the occasional stroke of genius, multi-time dropout.
It was unknowingly handicapping me enough to the point where my results on IQ tests went up by about ~1.7 stdevs afterwards.
No, I did not suspect or self-diagnose with either Autism or ADHD before all this, I based my assumptions on very stereotypical cases of those mental differences; for me it was a much more subtle thing since Im high functioning (old terminology) enough where I was unknowingly 'masking' and suppressing urges like stopping myself from constantly shifting body language, or supressing the urge to yelp out a word in public that's fun to pronounce..that sorta thing.
(I cannot comment on your choice of treatment, but for me it does involve the usual pharmaceuticals)
