Also to chime in too, I also go by idea -> location -> appropriate glamour -> figure out camera/composition -> start posing. I edit my pics a lot so I can allow myself more leeway too but preparing everything beforehand is a huge help especially if you need to take multiple pics or give sequentiality to the scene/setting
