Gumball might take pride in having so many characters, but in reality this show does a piss-poor job at juggling them.
Even My Melody anime had a better luck with not only making much more characters relevant, but also allowing for multiple character perspectives. And that was just a kiddie show aimed at girls to sell more Sanrio merch.
