Not to be mean or anything but Japanese people (and east asians in general) seem to really love bland, unlikable power fantasy characters.
I can't judge, I know what my fellow Americans are into. But still, kinda weird. If you removed Jaune and 90% of the side characters from RWBY it would have been way better
