Anon, I know 8.8 was shitposted a LOT at the time, but the general consensus was that even if it had some weaknesses it was still a fucking great game. My full list of issues is
>The intro sequence is too long
>The wolf segments get too repetitive after a while
>It gets really fucking easy about mid-way through, like Wind Waker easy, which is my actual biggest problem with the game
>The last 5th is kind of rushed
>Some dungeon items are too niche and have almost no use outside of the dungeon they're found in
And that's it. Nothing actually damning or terrible, just "this could have been handled a little better". The presentation, story, music, combat, dungeons themselves, it's all top-shelf shit. A stupid meme from 20 years ago doesn't change that, I had a fucking blast playing the game at the time and I was posting 8.8 with the rest of them just because it was funny.
