Eh yeah I think more just a function of the recording and audio. IDK I'll ask a buddy to listen to it next time I'm shooting, but I think the recording is deceiving. It is a Dead Air Sandman K on a 12" 7.62x39 barrel. Not really a quiet setup.

That being said, I'm super stoked with how it did. Nice change of pace from the past 3 range trips which were just my Atrius lever snib snabbing after a couple mags then going home after shooting my glock a bit.

the tolerance issue we're running into I don't think is too much material vertically, but rather too much thickness port/starboard.

Very good to know!
I've got a replacement lever coming and I'll check this clearance. I don't like the idea of turning down the cam surface though, doesn't that weaken the steel there and increase the chance of premature wear?

I have several, and I've shot probably north of 15k rounds through them. I like them. They definitely adjust the gas. Depending on barrel length, port size, buffer weight, and spring strength I have found, especially as of recently, that the adjustment gradations are not fine enough. I wish it had a more "linear" feel to it (possibly not actually linear, but my point is that the adjustment to the weapon behavior seems to jump by large amounts even for small adjustments) and or maybe another setting or two (5 or 6 positions total), but not more settings on the extreme ends of the adjustment, like I said just more gradation.
