This is actually true and it's fucking heartbreaking. The people I grew up around became the same mindbroken 30-40something millennial zombies that infest the rest of the internet. I can't possibly imagine why.

Where do people find the time, energy, and design skills needed to make these things? Like, how do they manage to fit the amount of passion it takes to heavily modify a full game, for zero expected reward or compensation, into their daily grind?
