/x/ - How to open a real portal ?

There are no portals to no "4th dimension", that's not how it works. Our reality, or rather the band of reality we naturally engage in, is defined by a specific blend of "energies" and how they interact with each other, it creates a flow that's compatible with us, because we are also part of those energies.

To open a "portal" traditionally speaking, is to alter the blend of energies in a specific area so it matches the blend of a different band of reality. We're not talking about a literal hole that you step through to end up in a different realm. The idea of traveling to different realms is restricted to the mind vehicle only.

These energies have different names in every tradition, yin/yang qi, magnetic/electric fluids, pranic vayus...etc. These energies conform reality itself, so you don't need any type of "special abilities" to interact with them, those just grant you precision.

If for example you wanted to open a portal into the band of reality where spirits wander you'd need to saturate a location with the energy blend they thrive in. In this case being the negative side of the spectrum, a magnetic, heavy, stagnant area. You can do this physically by setting up a dark space and saturate it with yin/magnetic elements like stagnant water, dust, some blood or scented candles or incense. In this space you are the final ingredient or modulator. Once you step in and mimic the energies of the environment within yourself you're effectively traversing a portal in the traditional sense, and interaction with the other side of that portal becomes possible.

You were never dead though, when you're near death the "shen" or awareness loosens up, which makes for these mental projections people confuse with their "souls" coming out of their body. This is basically what happens in NDEs, they never died, their energetic patterns never left their body, they were just projecting shen or awareness. There's a very simple tell for this, have you ever heard anyone during an NDE complaining about the sunlight burning them? When you actually die, if you happen to have a strong enough shen and you don't get "recycled" immediately, your yin body or etheric body separates from the physical shell and then it carries your shen instead of the physical body.

Ghosts are etheric bodies, or yin beings, sunlight and other strong yang carriers unravel etheric or yin constructs when hit directly, specially a new ghost. If people in NDEs had actually died and they were using their etheric/yin bodies they wouldn't be able to handle sunlight and some other elements that are often seen in NDE experiences. They also couldn't travel to far away places just by thinking about it, that's only possible in NDEs because the person is a shen projection, purely mental, ghosts can't do that.

Whatever you saw was influenced by your shen structure as well, this isn't something that will apply to everyone, you should worry about your own stuff.

Everyone had every fundamental piece of structure, it's not just about the trinity, although the trinity is of the most deformed ones nowadays due to how extremely christianity has watered down the doctrine for the masses.

Let's take daoism as a pivot since it's one of the oldest and see the parallels. In daoism there is a positive/active flow of energy (yang qi) and a negative/passive flow of energy (yin qi), when combined they refine into awareness or "spirit" (shen) to varying degrees. For the daoist nuts around here, i'm putting jing aside or implementing it just to simplify the demonstration of parallels.

>christianity
yang qi = divine breath
yin qi = dirt (earth is one of the main carriers of yin qi)
shen = imago dei (refined through the "fruit")
>judaism
yang qi = ruach
yin qi = adamah
shen = neshamah
>hinduism
yang qi = purusha
yin qi = prakriti
shen = jiva ----> atman
>greek platonism/hermeticism
yang qi = logos/pneuma
yin qi = hyle
shen = nous
>egyptian myth
yang qi = atum/re
yin qi = nun
shen = ka/ba
>alchemy
yang qi = sulphur
yin qi = mercury
shen = salt

I can continue with norse mythology, yoruba, buddhism..etc. Every tradition has a schematic for how life is created or matter animated, and how consciousness or awareness arises. Some of these traditions even have recorded methodologies for cultivating these energies and giving them various uses, and these methodologies agree with one another.

This is just one aspect of the various shared across traditions in different parts of the world, but it's the most important aspect in my opinion, the one where every occult framework is based on.
/x/ - How do you cope?

I don't care what others think, so i don't need to cope with that. I have my paradigm, which i don't cultivate with wishful thinking, so the beliefs that come out of it don't act as coping mechanisms.

Besides, there's no science/religion dichotomy, science is a religion. The only dichotomy here is mythos/logos, people nowadays have given "exclusive religious status" to the religions based on mythos, but science is a religion of logos. They're two different paths that converge at the same point at different times. They have their roots in philosophy and both paths converge there cyclically in order to re-calibrate themselves. Mythos religions in time turn into logos religions, and logos religions in time turn into mythos religions, and the cycle repeats.

You can see this with quantum physics for example, they're starting to reach a point where they need to re-calibrate by relying on subjectivity because they can't find a way to understand ineffability through logos. The "occult" is something that emerges from this contrast in the cycles, people mystify, misunderstands it and/or obscures it, but the occult can be expressed both through mythos and through logos, magic and technology, they're the same dog with a different collar. Most people never see the dog, they're only fixated on the collar, that's why friction between both paths emerges. "The scientific communities mock your absence of proof", the proof is the dog.
