I actually just had an epiphany about this, I'll be adding radial tanks to the docking ports I attached my four bigass rovers to. It was a design limitation as I needed all available docking ports for rovers and landers. I was approaching 1 kiloton in weight so any further modifications weren't going to fly, literally.
