100% false, 1/56 Warlord vehicles are entirely too small, and every single historical player knows this. Look at any picture of a bolt action vehicle next to a soldier, and then look up a real picture of that vehicle next to a real person. You will see that the Bolt Action vehicle is comically undersized.
One of the main problems is that 28mm troops are NOT actually 1/56. Maybe 25mm troops were back in the day, but 28mm troops are not. Look at this pic of the 28mm Warlord infantry compared to the 1/56 Warlord tank crewman made by Rubicon.

1/72 is much too small for 28mm, and quite frankly 1/56 models are too small as well. The idea sized vehicles for 28mm is 1/48-1/50.

Ultra modern wargamers are very obsessive over this because they need their vehicles to be as "realistic" scaled as possible. They usually use 1/48 or 1/50 for big vehicles like cargo trucks, tanks etc., the ideal size for civilian cars is 1/43
