Don't know. My initial intuition was to treat it like sleep paralysis, and try to force the real(er) body to start moving. To maybe get it to either sleepwalk and deactivate the device, or get it off somehow. So I focused on the number 303, which seems to be important. Moved the energy all to the back of the head, and tried to force myself awake. Weird things happened in every case, people around me acting strangely (not regarding me, just their behavior sort of slowed and became odd in some way), flashes of light, grid patterns in the sky. And generally I'll start seeing flashes of my own face with eyes closed, like I'm seeing through my eyelids into the reflection in some kind of glass. This started happening randomly several years prior (like 7 years ago), and then I found it could be triggered by this sequence. Beyond that, not sure. I thought perhaps the eclipse was a hole in reality and you needed to be at a certain place and project your mind through it, but although I was already in the path of totality, I was not at whatever that place was, so I don't know.
Last detail that seems relevant. When I've tried to astral project or leave the body, I immediately hit this black and white grid structure. Then snap back into the body.
