For me I also see that for one thing, is that transformation just don't happen. You never see anybody using their magic casually, apart from a guy turning into a girl. Just look at Elliot I am sure he has used his ka-girl spell by itself on panel, more then the combined total number of spells Ellen has ever cast. Despite the fact Ellen is supposed to have a far greater talent for magic, and being more willing to use magic for fun, then Elliot.

Second thing is about how people react, or to be more exact don't react to the transformations. Since everybody is essentially have the same person they all pretty much have a sum total of one reaction. Which is always just that cool, and I would like to try it.
