You've never played Let It Die, you've either heard of it or watched someone else play it and it made you want to defend it to your dying breath. Anyone who's played Let It Die, even those who enjoy it are able to acknowledge its faults. How would someone who never touched the controller, who dealt with the mushroom lady, and the TDM, and the agony that comes from needing to start from scratch to hopefully get your shit back by beating down your Haterized corpse know how to defend such things?

It's just so fucking hard for them to release private server software, or release the source code, or actually update the game so the resources it'd normally get from the central server are just client side so the damn thing works. Knockout City was abandoned by EA and yet the devs after failing to keep it up themselves released a version that works off private servers, the game is abandonware but still playable. Literally what excuse does any big budget company have to not do the bare minimum? The fucking AVENGERS game had a proper EOL plan and that was killed alongside Crystal Dynamics in the same damn breath.
