this is the actual, objective truth. i'm not even joking. this is what's happening.
it's just enough "difficult" for redditor pseudo-gamers to feel that they've achieved something because they FINALLY played a fucking game (le heckin' INDIE game even). so they have to hype it up like the coming of christ to keep up the delusion that they're epic gamers and this is one game that they played is such a MASTERPIECE!!! and one reason for this is that by doing that they don't have to play other games because uhh i'm just waiting for silksong WHEN'S SILKSONGGG???!!. these are the kind of people who mostly consume games through streams and youtube videos.
like this is the reality of the situation for the most part. turns out there's TONS of these retards as well. silkksong is literal mass delusion "hype" from pseudo-gamers. and this is not even that uncommon phenomenon, happens all the time, this one has just had 7 years of build-up.
