Engagements like these are really interesting to me because - as a dude trying to work on his own comic as a side project - nobody ever seems to be able to tell me what they think is an example of GOOD writing, in a way that isn’t deliberately ironic or detached; they’ll freely shit all over every piece of media under the sun, but you ask them what’s something that they think is actually solid and for what reasons those are, they’re basically out to lunch.
