Yeah. Interacting with the environment is one of the cool aspects of bg3. And they really like giving you alternate solutions to things, like having feather fall or misty step etc actually lets you bypass places other people would need to find a key or bash a door or whatever. The funniest one is being able to Knock all the doors in the sharran temple.
Another one I like is how the difficulty levels actually change what enemies do instead of just being stat inflation, and of course the amazing sound design including music, voice direction, and spell effects. It's really a joy to play.
