Correct. Xbox and PS were retarded spending too much with too big loss margin leaving them with the only choice to pivot due not being sustainable in the long term. Also, two non-gaming brands at this point doesn't represent gaming like the western media tries to make you think; Nintendo is doing better than ever at this point and PC (if you use it for gaming purposes) fares decently as well.
