I don't want her to fail but one thing that dampens my welcoming of her is that it feels like Slugs are trying to imitate their competitors. What I like about Snowbreak is how real all the girls feel in the sci-fi/future world.
Marian is just kinda a rich girl.
Katya is a merc from a bad home.
Lyfe is just a skilled autist.
Yao was just an army girl.
Chen was just some girl from a good family.
And so on and so on. It felt like Bubu was the first time they started to just lightly dip their toes into a more Gayshit Impact and friends visual fantasy style but this kinda feels like doubling down on it. Bubu was okay just because of how endearing she is. I'm not saying they can't but it doesn't feel as authentic or "Snowbreak" to me.
I kinda of like normal girls with trauma with normal names like Marian. I'm not even saying it can't be a vampire just I'd prefer a sci-fi themed vampire rather than a fantasy one.
