What will happen is retailers will take the tariffs they're being forced to pay when importing Gunpla and other shit from Japan and then tack on a price increase onto whatever you're buying to mitigate the cost of having to pay the tariff. Think how everyone was complaining that the prices on P-Bandai US were being hiked up a few threads back, but across the board at places like Gundam Planet or USAGundamStore.
