I like the whole line, Alolan Raichu being by far my favorite, I'm still very unsure what to feel about Mega Raichu, I think both Megas look pretty lazy and both being locked behind a 30 dollar DLC that was announced before the game even came out is insulting.
Also, oddly enough the number 26 keeps coming up a lot in my life and lo and behold, that's Raichu's number.

Not sure if it counts, but Alolan Raichu was confirmed via the leaked design documments to be an alien mutant that was altered by toxins brought from Ultra Space and then refined into spices used for Alola's pancakes and other dishes that the Pikachu line just so happened to like eating.
Then there's the whole Puka episode from way back in the early days of the anime with a blue eyed surfer Pikachu that seemingly had precognition.

I absolutely love Cradily, wished it got Regenerator, sea lillies and it's relatives all have amazing regenerative abilities, so it would be a perfect fit.
