I've unironically optimized the fun out of the game
Nothing is even remotely a challenge anymore, I haven't been in serious danger of failing an expedition in at least 30 runs
I can remove my gaol relic and do unoptimized builds, but nothing can take the knowledge of "how to be level 15 every time" or "where to go and who to kill for the best gear" out of my brain
Both wittingly and unwittingly, I've ruined the game for myself
