There's at least one guy who worked his ass off and retired before he hit 40 and seems proud of that fact, but I can tell he's somewhat lost in his newfound freedom and available time and just spends it volunteering as a groundskeeper.

Imagine being done working just to go hop on a lawnmower to have some kind of value, purpose, and sense of belonging. I don't envy that. People get weird when they don't have to worry about survival directly.

The best doom game is LucasArts Outlaws, a spaghetti western shooter with cool advancements in technology like water and breathing, sprinting with a stamina bar, a detachable scope with variable zoom, knives you can throw or stab, dynamite that can be lit and thrown or thrown unlit, then shot with firearms, and some other cool shit that you didn't see in either of the doom games like a moving train heist type level with an outdoor area on a giant treadmill basically. Also it had fully animated and voiced cutscenes and a soundtrack done with a full orchestra playing actual instruments instead of MIDI Metallica and Megadeth ripoffs.
