I met the guy who played Rory from Dr. Who, Arthur Darvill. He was in my state for a convention. I was walking past the stairs on the second floor of the convention center in the hall, and I hear this crowd of girls from the big dealer's room where they also were doing autographs. Then, from it, out comes ol' Arthur "Rory" Darvill, and he and I made brief eye contact. He nodded as I moved out of his way so he could go down the stairs (or to a panel? I don't know, it was over ten years ago). I was 14-15 at the time, but I felt a nice vibe from him even if he was clearly dog-tired and jet-lagged. Kind of wish I could meet up with him one day, because I later saw he played Guy in the stage version of Once, and he absolutely killed it. He seems like a nice guy. Even if his face was like pic related at the time.
