Railroads are bad.
But yeah they are the Railroad studio.
It was my main criticism of the Dungeon Siege games. long before I comprehended IWD and Dungeon siege were made by the same people.
You visit a town once, then you forget that town ever existed.
If you do take your trouble backtracking to the previous town, you will be met with disappointment:
-the NPCs repeat the same thing
-they are frozen in time
-they have the same troubles as when you left them
-their sales invnntories never changed
This shit will make you depressed. It's no wonder BG2 is considered the god of CRPGs, litterally a masterpiece in comparison.
