Bruh...
Yes the whole point of forced reset is that the mechanism forces your finger forward, but if you force your finger rearward with force greater than the force forcing your finger forward, guess what happens, your finger doesn't get forced forward. The mysterious "mechanism" simply transfers the rearward force (and actually siphons off a little energy-momentum) of the reciprocating assembly through the super lever (Atrius or other) to your trigger finger via the rear of the hammer bar. If the super lever has a yield strength that is BOTH less than the strength with which you're pinning the trigger to the rear, and less than the strength of the rearward reciprocating action, modulo leverage factors, the lever will break/bend/snap, and your finger won't get forced forward but the action will cycle.

This is what I'm experiencing, I'm pretty sure.

>very fragile design
IDK about "very" but clearly it is weaker than BOTH my trigger finger AND the reciprocating action of my setup, modulo once again mechanical advantage leverage factors.
>isn't actually 100% compatible
Yeah I mean a lot of these systems as of now need some fitting and tuning.

I need to see a cutaway of a three position RBT FT15L3 and I want to see what moment arms we're working with. The lever based super safeties like the Atrius and trad SS levers, while not "bad" per se, do make use of relatively long moment arms.

Have you 100% used a completely closed back square back ideally S marked Schmid tool mil spec trigger? Low shelf lower? M16 BCG?

Also at this point there is the possibility you've bent your lever out of spec. Happened to me. once it is bent out of spec, it won't reset any more. Inspect carefully. If there are signs of cracking or wear on the top convex face of the lever, that could indicate possibly it has been bent out of spec.

My first Atrius lever wasn't really working, I was trying to force it into various combinations of lowers and uppers. It eventually bent, and stopped working entirely. I got a replacement, and just hit 800 malfunction free rounds yesterday.

Sorry correction, that image with the cracking was my first lever which bent and cracked within 120 rounds or so, but I believe I caused it to bend/crack by initially trying to get it to work in an 80% receiver that had been finished to 100% out of spec by myself on a hobby mill.
