so called geopolitics aint really complex in any way. in at least current climate. its a black and white as it gets with tyrannical despots with zero redeeming qualities, like pozzia or mainland china, vs the civilized and normal western civilization and all its allies. like korea, japan and taiwan
Militarily there is not even much of a contest. Western superiority, especially air, is so lopsided 7 million israel publicly gaped 90 million iran, over several other countries, for all to see. and there was nothing the seething ajatollah could do about it. only real advantage despots have going for them is the one two punch of total censorship in their domain, so everything bad (which is a lot) is shrugged under the carpet, while flooding relatively open western media with subversive propaganda. aimed at demoralizing and paralyzing western political institutions. Sadly this has had quite some success
only ones in the "grey zone" are the rest of the world like south america or africa
