It's fun to see how many pokemon you can collect, and it is satisfying to sit down and let your army handle everything for you, but after a playthrough of doing that, it's nice to play a class that doesn't have any summons so you can skip some of the tedium like getting stuck in doorways.

I love playing summoner classes, but one downside is that half the group is trapped outside this doorway lmao

Araj would stick around for blood samples and Aradin would stick around if you paid him. It would be cool to have to actually pay him and you could negotiate rates with persuasion, and Araj coming up with new potions each long rest would be a cool mechanic. Not everyone needs to care about the absolute or be tadpoled in order to join the group.
