No. Final Fantasy should play like Final Fantasy. If it no longer does, then they should call it something else.
Also the reason I haven't bought Metaphor yet is because they haven't released the definitive version of the game yet. That's the case for lots of people.
I'm not going to get scammed into buying an inferior over and over with every game they release. Then I'd rather wait until the real version of the game releases.
