I am officially concerned
>read dev interview
>apparently for Silksong they just add every single new idea they come up with and every single enemy or section they think up to the game
>originally intended to be smaller and denser than Hollow Knight, now it's significantly larger (HK was already MASSIVE for a metroidvania)
>don't remove or edit any of their ideas
>don't care how it fits and flows together as a cohesive whole
>don't do any playtesting
>have pushed back deadline multiple times, not to polish up and clean and edit, but instead add EVEN MORE stupid bloated bullshit
Why are they like this? And even worse why do so many consumers have this "sIop quantity > quality" perspective?
This was already a massive flaw with Hollow Knight that they just mashed a bunch of shit together with no care about the bigger picture and that's how we got such a horrible map design, poor pacing, lack of progression, and nonsensical design decisions
