They did make world 2. That's why it's so shit.
The game could run perfectly and it'd still be a streamlined cinematic experience with no content and incredibly weak monsters that is best played solo because of how annoying it is to play multiplayer.
That description applies to both world and wilds.

World AND Wilds both suck as MH games.
Other than the unbelievably shitty performance present with even the best hardware on the market the faults of Wilds are largely the same as the faults of World.
Wilds is as bad as it is because they pandered to worldfags and their delusions that the series is supposed to be a story first gameplay second experience, and even if Wilds ran perfectly it'd be a bad game that's closer to a generic ARPG than a MH game thanks to focus mode stripping all the nuance from the weapons.

Basically you're a fucking idiot if you shit on Wilds while praising World.
