More like:
>HIT doesn't work because volume and frequency are too low
"Oh yeah, what about this genetic phenom who abused steroids and trained for like a year under arthur jones, after having already built almost all of his physique, who had him do full body workouts ~3x a week?"
>You're arguing just to argue.
You seem to have missed the point of this thread which is literally titled "Once a week frequency".

Did arthur jones have sergio olivia train muscles only once a week?
Yes or no. Should be easy to answer.

now lift the arm up and stop pressing it against objects

That will just just give you temporary swelling, muscle fibers that produce force for hours a day will not grow.
>>76464826
None of that is true.

Case in point.
All the "size gains" you're getting from le manual labour are short term swelling, it's not real hypertrophy.

Not true.

>it's literally just genetics + decades of low intensity work.
It is almost only genetics + high intensity work

When does low intensity build muscle? Never.

It's not just the insertions points that determine one's forearm size potential.

right back at you
your theory that it is an absolute necessity to build muscle was literally born out of low IQ broscience from like 70 years ago.

The bulk of the literature shows that advanced athletes can build muscle on a small deficit. Only competitive bodybuilders prepping for a show and suffer actual energy status deficiency due to lack of energy stores in their own bodies actually experience atrophy in a deficit, no one here is at that level.

Also the longer you push yourself during a bulk the longer you will have to cut anyway, even according to your broscience you will start to lose whatever muscle you think you built in a bulk the day you start cutting, it is nonsensical broscience that refutes itself and leads no total nihilism.
